This marks my 16th season of covering Kansas high school football. I will continue to vote and play a role in the statewide KPreps media poll run by KPreps editor Matt Gilmore. I have primarily covered eight-man football, including every state championship game at Newton since 2013. Additionally, I have covered six-man football since the re-start in 2014.
